Advisor and Guest Curator (Curatorial and Art Consultancy)
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Alison has lived and worked in major international cities, including London and Berlin. Prior to pursuing a Master of Arts in Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London (2021–22), she received her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (2008) and Master of Laws (2016) degrees from the University of Hong Kong.
With over ten years of high-level policy advisory and project management experience in the public sector, including an overseas station in Europe, Alison has collaborated with art institutions and artists, international organisations, government ministries, private enterprises, academia and the media on projects spanning from art exhibitions, cultural performances, art journalism, business matchmaking, to grantmaking. In 2022, Alison joined BLOK Design Associates as an Advisor and Guest Curator.
As a strategic, diplomatic and multi-lingual professional, Alison has a prolific track record of advancing sustainable global partnerships. She believes in the value of this collaborative model in the international arts and culture scene. She specialises in developing soft power and continues to build collaborations beyond borders.
